We had an exceptional experience at this restaurant in DC a couple years ago. I remember my immediate impression upon arriving in the restaurant was not wonderful.  It was crowded and rather loud but once seated and into reading the menu it became quite comfortable, interesting and totally fun.  We all agreed we’d go back in an instant.  There were so many intriguing items we didn’t have room to try.  I can’t recall the wines we drank that evening  (that shouldn’t surprise anyone who knows me) but beginning this Monday Zaytinya is offering some wine specials that sound fantastic.
